The Fashion Association of Britain (FAB) is a new division of the British Independent Retailers Association (bira). FAB is steeped in a rich heritage dating back through the British Shops and Stores Association, the Menswear Associaton of Britain (MAB) and the Drapers Chamber of Trade of Great Britain and Ireland (DCT). The DCT was founded in1899 to protect and promote the interests of retail drapers and allied traders.
